If you have not already done so, please register your child for kindergarten at NY Avenue.
Please note that students who will reach their 5th birthday on or before December 1, 2010 are eligible to register. If you need further informaion, please call 382-2018.

Contact Donna Maloney at 656-8667 for information on the Tackan PTA Pre-K Program held here in May. Registration for this program will be held on March 10 & 11 here at Tackan. Your child must be registered for Kindergarten in order to participate in this program.
On Target Ceremony - Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 2:30pm
The staff at Tackan has instituted a positive reinforcement program called the Principal's On Target Award. Teachers can nominate students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade for their positive contributions to the Tackan school community. Students may be nominated for having a great attitude, showing improvement, demonstrating good citizenship, treating others kindly, etc. This award is not an academic award. Our goal is to recognize students for just "doing the right thing."
We hope that all children will have an opportunity during their career at Tackan to be recognized for their positive contribution to the Tackan community.
